It is extremely important to follow aftercare instructions given by your piercer. Here are some general aftercare instructions.

- Cleanse your piercing twice a Cleanse your piercing twice a day with a sterile saline solution.

-Avoid touching your piercing with unwashed hands. This could introduce bacteria into your fresh piercing.

-Avoid sleeping on your new piercing. For Cartilage piercings I always recommend a piercing pillow.

-Do not twist. The less you mess with it the better.

-It is recommended to wait until your piercing has healed before changing the jewelry. Always use a high-quality metal when choosing your jewelry pieces.

-Every person heals differently. Every piercing heals differently.
